Have You Met with a Financial or Estate Planning Advisor Lately?  4 Reasons You Should...

The Jewish Community Foundation encourages you to regularly check up with your accountant, estate planning attorney, financial advisor, and/or insurance agent.  These advisors can help guide you through current areas of concern and also help you plan for the future of you and your family.   Here are four of the many reasons you should keep in touch with these advisors:

  1. Preparing for end-of-year taxes
  2. Updating your will, particularly after any major life event (birth of child, marriage, etc.)
  3. Ensuring your retirement portfolio is on target
  4. Reviewing your family’s insurance needs

Proper planning may take some time to complete and may cost you money in fees, but the benefits of having a sound financial and estate plan should well outweigh these short term concerns.  There are many pitfalls you can encounter if your will is not properly established, if you aren't financially prepared for retirement, if you are un- or under-insured, or if you are not monitoring your taxes.

If you are in need of a qualified professional advisor or if you have any questions, please email Jeff Klein at the JCF or call 856-673-2521.  We maintain a network of experienced advisors and we would be glad to connect you with the right person.

Are You a Financial or Estate Planner by Profession?

If you are a professional advisor who provides financial or estate planning expertise in the South Jersey area, we would love to meet with you and discuss possible synergies.  Our agency can offer many great services for your clients, and, on the flip side, we would certainly look for ways of connecting you with our donors who may be in need of financial or estate planning assistance.  To set up a time to meet, please email Mike Staff or call 856-673-2535.  Thank you.
