Jewish Community to Aid Survivors of Haitian Earthquake

The Jewish Community Relations Council, the human relations, public policy, social advocacy agency of the Jewish Federation of Southern

New Jersey, has opened a local mailbox to receive donations to aid survivors of the devastating earthquake that struck the island nation of Haiti late Tuesday.

Donations will be sent to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), the overseas arm of the organized North American Jewish community and an overseas partner of the Jewish Federation. JDC manages The Jewish Coalition for Disaster Relief, which brings together the experience, expertise, and additional resources of North American Jewish organizations to assist victims of natural or man-made disasters on a non-sectarian basis. Your support of this JDC relief effort will provide assistance and comfort to the people of Haiti.

Donations can be made online at www.jewishsouthjersey.org or by check, made payable to The Jewish Community Relations Council. Please indicate Haitian Earthquake Relief in the memo section and mail to: Jewish Community Relations Council, 1301 Springdale Rd., Suite 200, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.
