Roselee Redelheim and Estelle Lerner, good friends and experienced early childhood educators professionally, also share a reputation for being pretty expert in the field of Jewish parenting and grand-parenting personally. They’ll offer you their real-world, proven expertise and advice for how to turn your seder into a magical Jewish memory for your children without tears—theirs or yours!

 

Roselee Redelheim and Estelle Lerner-- 8 p.m.

Roselee Redelheim  is the Director of the Early Childhood Center at Congregation Beth El in Voorhees.. Roselee attended YU High School, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education from CCNY, a Masters in Counseling from Villanova and a Principal’s certification from Penn State. Her 30+ years of work in Jewish education has included 9 years as principal of Politz Day School, 9 years as director of Har Zion Nursery School, and founding of the nursery program at Adath Emanu El. Roselee also taught for many years in both day schools and Religious Schools.

Estelle Lerner is a veteran early childhood educator with 17 years experience teaching young children in a variety of settings from bilingual Spanish classes in Florida, to the inner city of Baltimore, and our own Jewish community.  She has five adult children (see below) and 10 grandchildren on two continents. She conservatively estimates that she’s done seders with 250 young children, though not all at one time.
