Rabbi Nathan Weiner
Joyous, authentic, and progressive, Congregation Beth Tikvah is affiliated with United Synagogue. Serving a diverse population, Beth Tikvah prides itself on its embracing of all Jews, including interfaith families, LGBTQ Jews, working class Jews, and Jews of color. Beth Tikvah is committed to gender equality in all areas of Jewish and synagogue life. While energized by our wide range of activities, educational opportunities, joyful prayer services, and social action projects that appeal to adults and children, we are most proud that meaningful, engaged community is at the center of all that we do. It is our goal that all congregants no matter age or income, feel universally welcomed, respected, and at home when participating in congregational life. Our men's club, sisterhood, adult education, morning minyan, and Shabbat tisch communities provide multiple entry points for meaningful participation. We are proud of our youth and teen programming, including TLC: The Tikvah Learning Community, and Tikvah Tots, our free no-membership required program for children aged 3-5. We provide our congregants with the opportunity to practice Conservative Judaism in a relaxed, welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere. Shabbat services are held on Friday evenings at 7:30 pm and on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am. Morning Minyan is held at 7 am on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as Sundays at 9 am when TLC is in session. May we welcome you to a Shabbat dinner hosted by a congregant family? Come get to know us; we welcome the opportunity to get to know you!
