KaHal, the Krupnick Herman Academy of Learning, offers a full range of classes, lectures, and special programming. Every week following Shabbat services, Beth El has a beautiful congregational luncheon Kiddush.
Religious School is offered for students beginning in Gan (Kindergarten) through Confirmation (grade 10). Junior Congregation (for grades K-6) is held every Shabbat morning at 10:30am. There is also young family-oriented programming with Tot Shabbat services once a month, and Shabbat morning babysitting offered every week. The Religious School sponsors Project Lev, which enables children with special needs to participate in a positive Jewish learning experience.
Our Early Childhood Center invites families to join in the year-round programs for young children, 6 weeks through five years. We offer full-day childcare, preschool, and Kindergarten programs, extended care and enrichment programs, as well as a summer day camp program and a Children’s Library. The Early Childhood Center is open from 6:45 am – 6:00 pm.
Beth El’s Youth Department offers a variety of activities, programs, and initiatives to ensure that the youth at our synagogue have a social outlet. Our goal is to provide informal experiential learning through fun, innovative, and social activities for all ages.
Beth El has a beautiful sanctuary, chapels, classrooms, gymnasium, and an award-winning library offering library discussion groups. Facilities are available for weddings, B’nai Mitzvah ceremonies, and parties. The synagogue is Kashrut-observant and is served by their in-house caterer as well as three additional caterers.
Shabbat services are held at 9:00am. Morning minyan meets at 7:30am Monday through Friday, and at 9:00am on Sundays. Evening minyan is held at 6:30pm Sunday through Thursday.
