PJ Library & PJ Our Way

A Jewish bedtime story every month - for free!
PJ Library is a Jewish family engagement program that sends Jewish children’s books to families in Burlington, Gloucester, and Camden Counties each month. Families can enroll as early as when their child is a newborn and continue through eight years old. PJ Library is free to families in Southern New Jersey through the generosity of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, partnerships with local philanthropists, donations from individuals and the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey. Families then graduate from PJ Library to PJ Our Way, made possible by the National Grinspoon Foundation.

PJ Library is for children of all abilities in South Jersey!
If you have a child with disabilities, please email pjlibrary@jfedsnj.org for more info. To learn more about programs and services available for the Jewish community with disabilities, visit our Disability Services Area of Impact page and join us on Facebook.

Support PJ Library
Jewish Community Foundation, Inc.’s PJ Library Endowment Fund Matching Gift Campaign
Community members and grandparents Jodi and Neil Levine have set up a matching challenge for Jewish Community Foundation’s PJ Library Endowment Fund, which will provide annual funding for the future. When you donate to the endowment fund, the Levines will match it by 50 percent up to a total of $25,000, while the Harold Grinspoon Foundation will also match it by 25 percent. Both generous matches are available for three years, reaching up to $75,000 and $1 million respectively. A $1,000 donation, for example, would result in an additional $500 from the Levines and $250 from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation to rapidly grow endowment fund support of PJ Library locally.
Immediate Programming Needs
Endowments aren’t the only way to make an impact. One-off, individual donations of any amount made directly to PJ Library through JFSNJ help cover local PJ Library programs, which bring children together to enjoy books and learn about the Jewish holidays together. Examples of past events include Sukkot Storytime, Purim & Books, and Prepping for Passover.
Our Community Sponsors
We thank our sponsors for their support of the PJ Library program.
