The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey’s Women of Impact event features lauded and exceptional women, inspired by their Jewish values, making names for themselves. This year’s keynote speaker, Melissa Ben-Ishay, is the co-founder and CEO of Baked by Melissa, the dessert brand celebrated for its bite-size cupcakes.

Diane Fehder began her pastry career at the International Culinary Center and honed her skills at top venues in NYC, London, and The Merion in New Jersey, with her custom cakes featured in The Knot, New Jersey Bride, and more. She gained national attention through appearances on TLC’s Four Weddings, Food Network’s Sugar Dome and Halloween Wars, and won Netflix’s Sugar Rush Christmas. During the pandemic, Diane discovered a love for teaching and now enters her fifth year as the Culinary Arts teacher at Cherry Hill High School East, where she’s launching a new Baking & Pastry Arts course.
